A brief background of CMR is given below.
The history of CMR begins in Italy on 1966 when Dr. Enrico Bianchini found SA-RE s.r.l., then on 1976 D.E.M. HOSPITAL s.r.l, and on 1985 RETESAN s.r.l. All three companies where dealing with medical equipment and furniture, with different field of involvement. A unification was necessary in order to optimize the presence in the domestic and the international market. 
On 1995 as an evolution and the union of these three different companies, was constituted COMPAGNIE MEDICALI RIUNITE, whose acronym is CMR.
At the end of year 2002 CMR became S.p.A. with more than Euro 1.000.000 of registered capital.

CMR head office is located in the north-east of Italy, at Pordenone City, in a very highly industrialised area, where CMR own a building, and where all offices, a meeting hall and a big warehouse are located.
